Answer: Stop using it immediately and replace it with a new , unopened condom. If the hole is discovered after intercourse , emergency contraception and STI testing may be recommended

Question: "Can a yeast infection or BV cause an STI after continuous intercourse without a condom"

Answer: No. Yeast infections and BV are not STIs and cannot turn into an STI. However, having sex without a condom can expose someone to an actual STI, and BV can make someone more likely to catch an STI if exposed

This is a decision only you can make, but it is helpful to think through the choice. "Doing it" or having sex has its risk both physically and emotionally so its important to think about your personal values, goals and comfortability with the person. Its a big step and its important you have all the knowledge to make an educated decision and can protect yourself

Anyone can get condoms for free at the local health departments. You can also purchase them from local stores such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and Gas station.
